Saying the 360 version is just as bad is total FUD lies. Period. Don't need to be a fanboy to know that all you need is to play both versions of the game which the vast majority of you one console owning followers have not.
Sony fans like Mc Fadge are just trying to propagate the lie that the 360 version is just as hosed as the PS3 version. Its not.
I own both version I know. Everytime I see some Sony fan say "The 360 locks up just as bad" I want to puke.
The PS3 version has 2 systematic issues.
#1 - Cache overload random crashing
#2 - Gamespy hosted servers are horribly weak causing lock ups everytime you try and access multiplayer during high volume...
How about a patch to give you some video game skills instead? The driving is realistic now. If you don't know how to use a brake then go play Mario Kart Wii so you can jump slide around corners.
The driving physics in GTA IV are on par with Forza and GT4 now. Get over it and learn to play the game. WAAAAAH!

GTA V is RUMORED to be PS3 exclusive.
I'd venture to say GTA V won't come out on this generation of hardware anyway so fanboy posturing over it is pointless.
There will be expansions to GTA IV this generation and the next true sequel will be on next generation hardware and Sony will get some GTA love if they don't wait 10 years to bring out the PS4.

No one is saying the features should come out broken like MSGO or GTA IV... We're saying don't hype shat you have no intention of releasing till half the consoles life cycle is over.

Bladestar is 100% correct. They're being vague becuase the truth would piss everyone off (except you because you love Sony so much) if they revealed the real release schedule. XMB is probably not working very well thats why its not out yet. GTA IV doesn't even have enough cache to run the game let alone run XMB in the back ground.
San Andreas took GTA III and Vice City and threw in the kitchen sink. GTA IV isn't about topping the list of features from the last game. The style and scope of the game is totally different. Having every single features from the past games is NOT required to be the best open world game ever made.

Everything about the game is more realistic requiring more thinking from the driving to the gun fights. These whiners basically wanted San Andreas 2 rather than a true next gen reboot.

Its not even going to open beta until the console is 2 years old. By the time it limps out half of the PS3's life cycle will be over. Yeah yeah i know its supposed to go for 10 years but we all know the PS4 will be out in five years and the PS3 will get limited support like the PS2... Probably less support because it will have far less marketshare than the PS2.

I know Sony doesn't run the servers for any game. THATS THE PROBLEM. There is no structure. Sony just lets developers do their own thing when bad results so far.

Only people claiming that are Sony fans trying to defend their system. The fact is the problem is a THOUSAND times worse on PS3. Like other commenters have said the 360 version problems are RARE while the PS3 version has 2 systematic issues. First the cache crashing issue and second the PSN lock up issue.
You'll say I'm lying but I do own both versions. I'm a total GTA fan and wanted to be able to play with my friends on both PSN and XBL. I've played over 20 hours single player...

Don't hate the player hate the game. If Sony didn't rush to rip out pieces of the PS3 to reduce cost the cut scence lock up issue woudln't have happened. Rockstar shouldn't have to test on multiple versions of hardware...
